The Longbay Sailing Association was founded by members of the Myrtle
Beach Yacht Club in 1986 to promote sailing and big boat yacht racing in
the ocean along the Grand Strand. To that end the association schedules
regular races and events as evidenced by the 2003 Schedule. Need a boat? Check out the classified for boats for sail.
Need a ride?The association always
welcomes new participants, from the novice who has never sailed to those
who have competed for the Americas Cup. We offer sailing classes in
classroom and sailing instruction aboard any one of our sailing fleet. For
